The German Canadian Association of Brantford

To develop good citizenship and democratic ideals among Canadians of German ethnic origin.

To encourage immigration to Canada of persons of German origin or speaking the German language and to assist such persons both before and entering Canada.

To preserve German traditions of religion, music, literature, and the arts and to promote mutual understanding and co-operation with the like tradition of other groups in Canada.

To relieve distress amongst German speaking people both within and without Canada.

To encourage international trade and exchange of progressive ideas between Canada and countries containing German speaking groups in their population.

To use all available means of publication and communication to carry out the objects of the Corporation.

To carry on programmes of social activities, recreational projects and meetings in the said City of Brantford in connection with the promotion of the aforesaid objects.

Restructured our executive team with new roles and responsibilities

Restructured our finances to provide longterm growth for the Association and Community

Launched our Sonnenhof.ca website.  

Donated $ 100,00.00 to the Stedman Community Hospice for their new Gazebo
